Always a good experience here. The staff is friendly and efficient. The arepas are stuffed fully and always good. We had the chicken salad arepa.

I've been craving arepas made like this for a minute now but it's hard to find a good one close by me. I had to travel for lunch today and been eyeing this spot so decided to make it a day. It's a bit down yonderville but I can now say it's worth the few mins drive out. I enjoyed how they allow you to build your own toppings on the arepa and all the toppings I got came together perfectly (shredded chix, red peppers, tomatoes, avocado, shredded cheese) yumm it honestly didn't even need the white or cilantro sauce because the chix is seasoned just well enough but you can add it for extra doses of flavor. I was also impressed with the type of cheese they use it did not feel heavy at all. So yummy. I also got a mango smoothie felt a bit rushed and had more milk than mango flavor but I still drunk it right up. The real restaurant is under construction but they are still taking orders in their food truck right in front of the restaurant. So for me it's an order, grab and go situation. Nevertheless, Il def be back for another arepa!

love the food here! i've had so many arepas in my life and so so happy to have a local place serving some of the best i've had! the táquenos are delicious with or without guava. they also give you two delicious sauces, my favorite on the arepa pabellón is the garlic sauce! highly recommend the food and quick service!

AUTHENTIC AF! Cilantro garlic sauce is my favorite, and they literally put a WHOLE DANG BOTTLE of it on the table when they bring your food out. I got the Pabellon arepa and tequeños with guava... I could honestly eat this every single day and be the happiest camper. AND IT WAS EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE. You don't see prices like these anymore, and I'm so glad they are thinking of their customers in this aspect. The staff was attentive to our needs, and the food came out very quick. I even ordered another round of tequeños to-go because there is just something about these golden, melty, cheesey tidbits of heaven that make me feel like my life's problems have drifted away. I will def be coming back!

If you want homemade Venezuelan food, this is your spot. I decided to give them another try on a Monday and it wasn't busy at all so we got our food fairly quickly. I got the Carne Asada Arepa and the texture was perfect, and it was loaded with cheese which is just one of the few things I love about Venezuelan food (they love their cheese!) I ordered the four piece nugget for my toddler and an extra order of their rice and beans. Everything was perfect and I love that they give you an endless bottle of their signature garlic and cilantro sauces. At the end, I ordered a pepito to-go and a latte which came out good. Service depends on how busy they are, so be ready to wait on weekends or lunch rush.

My lovely wife introduced me to this place tonight, as she works nearby and had been here several times for lunch. Scratch Venezuelan kitchen, where they serve, you guessed it, Aprepas and more. The more turned out to be a fantastic shredded beef empanada with a crispy corn shell. The sweet corn highlighted the seasoned meat and went perfect with their cilantro sauce. For the main, I went with the Pabellon Arepa, with shredded beef, black beans, fried plantains, and a thick piece of white cheese, with the cilantro and garlic sauces on the side. It was tasty and filling. But I obviously should have gotten that Arepon that my wife did, with shredded beef, chicken, bacon, ham, a fried egg, parm and mozz cheese, topped with ketchup, and garlic and cilantro sauces. Chances are I will be back again for that one. You can't do much better for value, and everything was freshly made to order. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I heard the do Sancocho on the weekends of you are a fan.

Great place for breakfast...that's all I've tried so far! The arepas are amazing and my eggs were cooked perfectly. Very friendly staff and a general festive atmosphere! I can't wait to try additional meals here.

This place feels like home! As a Venezuelan living in the states for 20+ years, I always long for food that tastes like my abuelita made it. This is the closest thing i've been able to find that can compare to that deliciousness. I stumbled into this restaurant after work on a Friday & was pleased to find a small but cozy restaurant, with lively music & delicious smells inundating the space. The person at the counter was friendly & welcoming. I ordered the Pabellon with a Frescolita - one of my favorite Venezuelan pairings. Once ordered, it didn't take long for the food to come out. Taste was phenomenal! The only complaint I had was that I got a few chewy/fatty pieces of meat within my carne mechada. As a Veneuelan, i've made this dish before & its important to take all the fatty pieces out of the meat before seasoning it. This plate had quite a bit of them, but i was able to pick them out & still enjoy the dish. The plate came paired with some rice, black beans & fried plantains. I wish the beans came in a bigger portion, but that's selfishly because i could've eaten more of it. I also actually ate the fried plantains, which is rare for me since I almost exclusively only eat the fried plantains my Abuelita makes.

Looking for places to eat on Yelp I came across this gem. It is small and not too obvious, and I am very happy to have came inside! It is a chill cafe, there is a little area for seating inside. I ordered the fried yuca and the vegetarian arepa. The fried yuca was very fresh and just right. The vegetarian arepa surprised me! I liked it more than I thought I would. The plantain inside the arepa was the cherry on top for me. I got their cilantro sauce, garlic sauce and mayo-ketchup. The garlic sauce was my favorite and I enjoyed it with both the yuca and the arepa. I look forward to trying more from this place!
